Get Ultrasonic Cavitation at Our Essex Clinics
If you live in or around Essex, you can now get ultrasonic cavitation treatments from our clinics in Langdon Hills, Hornchurch and Rayleigh.
Ultrasonic cavitation is a non-invasive body contouring treatment that is sometimes referred to as “non-surgical lipo”.
Whilst it can bring the same results as traditional liposuction, ultrasonic cavitation does not remove fat cells in the same way and the two should not be confused.
Ultrasonic cavitation uses sound waves to dissolve fat cells without the need for surgery or injections. You can have the treatment and drive straight back home.
Like our Aqualyx Fat Dissolving Injections, ultrasconic cavitation is not a weight loss solution, but instead, a fat removal treatment to aid in body contouring.
It can help to shift those stubborn areas of fat that you’re having trouble losing with diet and exercise.
How Does Ultrasonic Cavitation Work?
Ultrasonic cavitation treatments are carried out using a wand and attachment, which is different depending on the area you wish to target.
The treatment uses low-frequency soundwaves to non-invasively penetrate the skin in order to vibrate, heat, and eventually destroy the fat cells beneath the skin.
You’ll benefit most if you drink plenty of water in the days surrounding your ultrasonic cavitation treatment, as this will encourage the removal of the fat cells from your body.
It can also help to gently massage the targeted areas or use a body brush in the days following treatment.
Once the fat cells are destroyed, their contents are released from the body via the lymphatic and urinary systems over the next few days.
What To Expect from Ultrasonic Cavitation
You can expect to see results in as little as 72 hours after your first treatment.
Ultrasonic cavitation can give great results from the first treatment onwards, but it is ultimately down to your diet and exercise regimen whether the fat returns.
As we said before, the treatment should not be seen as a weight loss treatment, but instead a fat removal solution.
It is used for what is known as body contouring, where we help to remove the stubborn areas of fat that exercise and diet struggle to remove.
Ultrasonic cavitation can help with removing fat from chins, love handles, male breasts, inner and outer thighs, under-arm and under-bra areas and stomach definition including 6-packs and abs.
As the treatment is non-invasive and involves no injections or anaesthetics, there is no downtime associated with the procedure. You can drive a car or go back to work straight after you leave us.
While you will most likely see some immediate results, unless you are targeting a small area of fat, you’ll likely need follow up treatments to eliminate all fat deposits.
Booking Your Ultrasonic Cavitation Appointment
Before we begin an ultrasonic cavitation treatment, we’ll sit down for a consultation.
We always begin with a consultation. This is to make sure you understand the inplications and limitations of the treatment, as well as suggest other treatments if we feel they may be better suited.
It’s also to check there are no reasons why you can’t have the treatment, including unrealistic expectations and medical reasons.
Ultrasonic cavitation cannot be used to cure obesity and so we like to make sure that you are already close to your target weight before we begin.
We’ll also check there are no medical reasons you can’t have the treatment. Some of those reasons are; if you have bleeding problems, heart or liver disease, are pregnant or nursing, or have any medical implants such as a pacemaker or cochlear implant.
We’ll show you the areas we can help with and, if we agree that this is the right treatment for you, we can carry out the treatment right there and then.
After the treatment, we’ll make an appointment for around a week to ten days so we can check the progress and carry out any further treatments if required.
