The amazing, revolutionary, NON-SURGICAL FACELIFT… Plasma Fibroblast!

7261419e-3d7f-4a92-80ff-541cc62f8538 2.JPG

Plasma fibroblast therapy targets fibroblasts. These are collagen and protein-producing cells in the dermis, the layer of skin just below your outermost skin layer.

Plasma fibroblast uses a pen-like device that discharges a high-frequency electric current to small areas of the skin. The plasma tip doesn’t directly touch the skin, but instead releases a targeted current just above the skin. The current creates small holes, or micro-injuries, in the skin’s layer.

This amazing new procedure will leave you with a youthful, natural look and a smooth complexion.

So, what are the benefits of Plasma Fibroblast?

  • Shrinks excess skin

  • Reduces under eye bags & lifts hooded eyelids

  • Smoothes out wrinkles, scars, stretch marks, sun spots, and skin tags

  • Lifts and tightens skin

  • Encourages tissue regernation

  • Tightens areas including the neck, jawline, eyelids, above the lips, crows feet, nose and even ears!

  • Improves skin texture

What does the procedure involve?

  • Cleansing the skin and applying a topical anaesthic cream

  • Treating the designated skin area with the plasma pen. The pen will create small arcs of micro-currents that make small scab like dots to the skin

  • The procedure usually takes around 60+ minutes (depending on the size of the area that is being treated).

Recovery…

Once the procedure is completed, you can expect the small dots to scab over and fall off after about 1 week. Over the next couple of weeks, as your skin heals, it should appear tighter and firmer. Some people may see benefits from one treatment, while others may require three treatments before they see results. The treated area can not get wet for at least 1 week after treatment (until scabs fall off).

Side effects

All procedures aren't without side effects. Examples of side effects for Plasma Fibroblast Therapy include: redness, swelling, mild hypopigmentation (light spots), mild hyperpigmentation (dark spots), skin peeling and crusting.

If you are interested in the Plasma Fibroblast treatment, don’t hesitate to contact us for more information or to book in your appointment.

Cheek Filler… Everything you need to know

721cd740-0ffb-4789-be2d-a3fb8af0a757 2.JPG

Cheek fillers are injections that raise the volume of the area above and around your cheekbones. This provides the illusion of a more defined bone structure. By injecting volume under your skin layer, cheek fillers can also smooth out wrinkles and fine lines.

how do cheek fillers work?

The dermal fillers used at YouthTopia are made from hyaluronic acid, a substance that is naturally produced in the human body. By using hyaluronic acid to add volume to the skin, we are able to lift and enhance the cheeks!

Benefits of cheek filler…

  • Cheek fillers require little or no anesthesia

  • Recovery for cheek fillers is quick, and many people can go right back to work or their regular activities afterward

  • Cheek fillers last for months or years, but the result isn’t permanent, so if you change your mind about them, you aren’t stuck with the result

  • Cheek fillers carry a very low risk of serious complications or infection.

  • Cheek fillers can be modified after insertion, meaning that you can add more filler to the injection site until you achieve your desired result.

  • Cheek fillers are less expensive than more invasive plastic surgery for making your cheeks appear more defined.

How long do cheek fillers last?

Depending on the type that you choose, cheek fillers can last anywhere from 6 months to 2 years before results are no longer noticeable. The dermal filler material eventually dissolves and metabolizes into your skin tissue.

Does the procedure hurt?

Pain is extremely subjective and everyone has different thresholds, however, the products we use contain anesthetic. A topical numbing agent is also applied to reduce any discomfort. We will check in on your comfort levels throughout the cheek injection procedure.

Tell me about Aftercare!…

Avoid vigorous physical activity or any large intakes of alcohol for 24 hours as this increases the risk of bruising. Aspirin and Vitamin E should not be taken one week before the treatment.

Are there any side effects?

The most common side effects usually occur within 24 hours post-treatment. These include swelling, bruising, redness, and tenderness. We are available for follow-up consultations if you have any concerns.

How will my cheeks look & feel after the treatment?

Cheek filler results are visible straight away. You may experience some swelling and bruising for 1-5 days, however, this is completely normal after a cosmetic injectable treatment. During this time, an ice pack should be applied to the area to reduce any swelling & bruising.

Are cheek fillers safe?

Cheek fillers are a low-risk, fairly straightforward procedure with minimal recovery time. But that doesn’t mean there isn’t a risk of side effects. Common side effects of cheek fillers include:

  • swelling

  • bruising

  • itching

  • redness

Aqualyx Fat Dissolving Injections

Aqualyx-Fat-Dissolving-Injections-TummyYouthTopia-Skin-Aesthetics-Langdon-Hills-and-Hornchurch-Essex-square.jpg

Get Aqualyx Fat Dissolving Injections at Our Essex Clinics

If you live in or around Essex, you can now get Aqualyx fat dissolving injections from our clinics in Langdon Hills, Hornchurch and Rayleigh.

Aqualyx fat dissolving injections are a non-surgical treatment for removing stubborn areas of fat that are hard to tackle, even with targeted exerise and good diet.

Like our Ultrasonic Cavitation treatments, they are not a miracle cure to solve obesity and they are not designed to replace exercise and proper dieting.

Instead, Aqaulyx is designed to target specific areas of the body that you need help removing stubborn fat from.

It is a body contouring treatment and not a weight loss solution.

They can help with your stomach (including 6-pack definition), chin, love handles, male breasts, waist, under-arms, inner and outer thighs, and the under-bra area.

Using a targeted pattern of injections, we are able to dissolve those last few inches and give you the perfect shape and definition that you deserve.

How Do Aqualyx Fat Dissolving Injections Work?

Aqualyx liquifies your fat cells and removes them naturally.

Using a technique called Aqaulysis or Aquaplasty, Aqualyx is injected into localised fat pockets that you wish to target.

Aqualyx consists of phosphatidycholine, a natural substance that can cause the destruction of fat cells when given in high doses.

The injections work by breaking down the fat cell membranes to liquify the cells. This releases lipids which are released naturally into the lymphatic system.

This destroys the fat cells completely, and providing a proper diet and exercise is maintained, they should not return.

The procedure is made up of a set of injections to be given three to four weeks apart.

What To Expect During and After Aqualyx Fat Dissolving Injections

After your initial consultation, we will mark out the areas to target for injection.

We will use a number of injections fanned out over the area that you’d like to target to make sure it is all covered.

The procedure should be pretty painless as we mix the Aqualyx with Lidocaine (an anaesthetic) before we start for greater comfort.

Results can be seen after just one session, however, we recommend you return to us in around three or four weeks, so we can have a look at the results and see if there is any more work that can be done to achieve your goals.

As it is a non-surgical treatment, there is no downtime associated with the Aqualyx injections. You’ll be ready to work and drive as soon as you leave us.

You may experience some slight redness or swelling at the injection area, but any side-effects should subside in a couple of days. If you have any concerns, always feel free to give us a call.

Aqaulyx can be a long-term solution as long as a proper diet and exercise regimen is maintained as the dissolved fat is removed through the lymphatic system.

Booking An Aqualyx Fat Dissolving Injection Appointment

Before we administer any Aqualyx fat dissolving injections, we’ll begin with a consultation.

We do this so that you can understand the implications and limitations of the injections. As we said before, Aqualyx fat dissolving injections are a body contouring treatment and not a weight loss solution.

You’ll need to be within a stone of your target weight to be considered for treatment, and we must be able to pinch about 3cm of fat at the target area.

If you meet the criteria for Aqaulyx, we can begin treatment immediately.

We’ll draw out a grid on the target areas and begin injecting you the same day.

After treatment, we’ll make an appointment for three or four weeks time, so we can check on your progress and provide more injections if required.

Get Vitamin B12 Booster Injections from Our Essex Clinics

If you live in or around Essex, you can now get vitamin B12 injections from our clinics in Langdon Hills, Hornchurch and Rayleigh.

Vitamin B12 deficiencies can have serious consequences… the worst part is many of us are deficient and don’t even know it. Especially if you’re a vegan or vegetarian, pregnant, have gut-related diseases, recently had surgery or are approaching old age.

If you don’t get enough in your diet or have trouble absorbing it, vitamin B12 injections are a great way to restore your body to optimum levels.

By boosting your vitamin B12 levels with our injections you can feel sharper, with more energy, a better appetite and a better sleep pattern.

Our clients have reported a huge number of benefits and improvements to their lives since having vitamin B12 injections.

What is Vitamin B12?

Vitamin B12 is an essential building block of our body and brain.

Vitamin B12 is only found in natural animal foods. This why you are very likely deficient in vitamin B12 if you follow a vegetarian or vegan diet and are not currently taking any other B12 supplements.

It is absorbed into the blood by binding to a protein produced in the body called intrinsic factor.

If your body does not produce enough intrinsic factor you may also be vitamin B12 deficient despite a diet with adequate B12 comsumption.

The ability to absorb vitamin B12 can also reduce as we age, and through gut-related diseases such as Crohn’s and celiac disease.

Vitamin B12 can be stored in the liver for a long time, so a dificiency can take a few years to reveal itself.

It is vital in the production of DNA and red blood cells, as well as regulating brain function and so a deficiency can have serious consequences including; poor brain function, low energy levels, bad sleeping patterns and a general lack of “get-up-and-go”.

Our injections give your body the boost it needs to restore your energy levels and brain function when a vitamin B12 deficiency is a cause.
